… perhaps, 7 or 8, my bio mothers first cousin came to town. I’d heard of her growing up but never got together with her nor spent time with her on long distant calls. We are roughly the same age. This would have changed my life. Her mother was my grandmothers baby sister. My grandmother died before I was born & before my bio mother was 11. Her first cousin really wanted to see her & wouldn’t stop asking about her. So, me, bio mothers sister & bio mothers first cousin got permission from bio mother to visit & so we went. Me & bio mothers sister left for a reason I don’t remember & were gone long enough for bio mothers first cousin to be sooo uncomfortable & upset when we returned, it was all over her face. Bio mother appeared COMPLETELY unfazed. We gathered it was time to leave & we did. First cousin said bio mother had kept her back toward her the entire time me & her sister were gone & had not uttered a single word. Bio mother was the oldest one in the house, acting like every bit of 2. This is just one of many of her unbelievable episodes I’ve witnessed over the decades. She’s a very ill individual.
