More Today Than Yesterday
I’ve learned a lot about myself over the past few days. It hasn’t been all pretty but it has been lovely. I am on the right track with plenty room to grow … so go on growing girl.
In My Dreams
I’ve been away from home for two nights & each night my dreams have been equally distressing. Can’t/wont go into the strain of trying to remember them, just don’t have the energy to give away. Otherwise, it’s been great! Ok? Ok.
Nothing Stands Out
What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?
… I almost always cook. If I want it, I purchase the ingredients which can sometimes be a bit much. Wait, Five Guys is nice & expensive! Thirty USD for a burger & fries. It’s been over a decade since I’ve had their burger but the fries hit the spot every time! They alone are expensive. I’d say they are worth every greasy salty penny!
Day Before Yesterday
I sat in a seat at the airport for 4 hours & have been suffering ever since. It feels like my legs have been disconnected from my hips. They all wobbly & stuff. I suppose one is meant to walk about the airport looking for a place/places to spend your money on outrageously priced things. I do wonder the science behind this pain.
Nope.
Scour the news for an entirely uninteresting story. Consider how it connects to your life. Write about that.
Not doing that.

Tristen
To make a long story short, I had my plates renewed today. It cost me a LOT of money. Highway robbery. Waiting my turn, in the seating area with his grandmother, was Tristen. A sweet boy. I don’t know how old he was, 7 or 8 maybe? He had a phone he was pretending to talk on as he, seat by seat, was moving away from grandma. He moved right into the lap of a man who was clearly napping to give him a hug! The man wasn’t startled & didn’t seem to mind ❤️ Then he laid his eyes on me! I gave him a smile & he gave one back! Next he waved & said hi! I waved & said hi & he reached for my hand gently & we locked hands, until he let go ❤️ Grandma tried to discourage him in the beginning, I assured her that all was well. Tristen has Down syndrome. So what. I was happy to have met him today. He made my day … Tristen.
