Nikki In a Nutshell

Yesterday my friend called after a long period of no talk. She called today too. We picked up where we left off. No harm no foul.

One of my dearest friends brought to my attention (unintentionally), that she has physically frozen on a few occasions in her basement quarters. Great! I’ll pick up what I believe is the perfect blanket for her! I have three of them myself & have gifted two to pleasantly surprised new owners. My latest is a beautiful engulfing shade of blue that reminds me of heavily overcast skies filled with rain &/or tumultuous seas. Well, she passed on the blanket because there wasn’t a color to her liking (I get it). The air though is gonna be on blast for the next several days in her quarters due to hot weather in the immediate forecast. I hope she don’t freeze. Hopefully I won’t either.

On march 14th, 2022, a ‘friend’ & I spent the day together shopping lunching & talking/listening. Up until & including this day some two & a half months later I’ve been recovering from that association. It weighed me all the way down & held me there for every bit of two & a half months. I will never do that again. My soul has never seen this kind of a clean sweep. TWO AND A HALF MONTHS ??????? Time is a precious resource that should be spent wisely. I was wrong about a few things but I think I know better now. I can’t afford to be out of commission. AT ALL.

I’ve heard so much about ZARA hauls. But there are no stores close to me. I have one piece by ZARA. I found it at Goodwill a few years ago. Perhaps a Goodwill haul will suffice!

We are hilarious! And dead serious at the same time. One of my closest friends & I know what our distractions/no no’s are & have confessed them out loud, intend to do somethings drastic to eliminate them & have made plans to replace them with the more important things from here on out. Jehovah be with us. #getready #stayready

Yesterday morning I took the large felt down that was covering completely my bedroom window! When I first saw this apartment I was excited with the idea of having such a large window in here. The amount of natural light that it offers has been life saving. I was shut off from the world though. It may as well have been a wall all this time because I couldn’t see out off it for the fear of someone looking in. Ive huge plans for this big beautiful window! & every other window in my life/world after this point! Come summer autumn winter & spring!

I just got up to go look for the very iPad that I am typing on.
