Tell us about a time when you felt out of place.
I almost always feel out of place. Solely because I’m not living the life that speaks to me most. For decades I had no clue who I really was. I’ve been on my journey of self discovery for a bit more than 8 years now. It’s been wonderful & the most difficult work I’ve ever done. So much makes sense now & very soon I’ll be very much on my way!
On the outside looking in to a life that isn’t meant for oneself, I’ve also felt it all too often. I’m so glad you’re also on the self-discovery journey! The hardest part, I’ve found, is finding your people.

‘Out of Place’, for me, is/has been a beautiful thing. It has shown me clearly, what I don’t need, namely ‘people’.

I’ve also learned I don’t need them nearly as much(there are increased health risks one has if they don’t have any sort of community, however). That being said, knowing that I can be alone and OK has also made it easier to find people I like and actually get along with as opposed to accepting the “friendship” of others who decide to try claiming my own friendship without my full consent. People who don’t quality get filtered out SO fast (which I mentioned in my post on the topic 😂)

*people who don’t qualify/people who aren’t quality- LOL I was trying to write two things at once. 😅
