I don’t care much at all for small talk. Long drawn out small talk is completely unnecessary, a total waste of time & energy. I’ve painfully participated in my last episode.
*Yawn*
Vanilla. Industrial beige. Bloodshot eyes. Enough.
Not So Much
… so much for reading the room …
Commas!
I absolutely love writing but have no clue about properly placing commas. Perhaps one day it’ll learn. Until then it’ll be like now you see them, now you don’t.
Highlights
You have yours (according to you). I certainly have mine (that have nothing to do with you). Isn’t that wonderful!
You Got Me F*d Up.
Though you fit in quite nicely with them. Congratulations.
My Dirty Laundry
Went to Target today to return a lampshade & pick up laundry stuffs … & whatdoyouknow … in slow motion, a tall slim long leg jean wearin’ man in cowboy boots adorned with the realist cowboy hat I’ve ever laid eyes on was walking my way. Not after me just in my direction. His gaze was downward. His gate was perfect. He appeared relaxed & confident. He wasn’t wearing a mask. His mouth was closed while he seemed to be in thought. I moved myself & the basket/shopping cart a bit to the left as to not interrupt him as he was oncoming traffic (OF THE DAY!) I was watching in amazement the entire time & couldn’t believe how distracted I was … I mean, I’ve been shook before but rarely. Even when we passed one another by my mind was like “who is he really” & “why he gotta look like THAT” 😂🤣😄 After just a few more steps I stopped dead in my tracks for the sole purpose of turning around to see more! Just in time to witness him turn the corner. It was truly a sight to see. I managed to compose myself turning back around to head to the laundry detergent. I thank my dirty laundry for this Target run.
Blood or Choice
NO BRAINER. Choice.
Who Sent You.
‘You’ don’t even know. If he were to be face to face with you, introducing himself, clueless you’d remain. It wouldn’t register.
Today …
My day began early rested & high pressured. I put water on for tea then sat up my desk for ‘work’. As soon as I got started my eldest began to text me. Before I knew it we were talking. That didn’t last long. He got another call & I had at least three to make & a deadline to meet, TODAY. Needless to say NOTHING was gonna get ‘done’ on ‘this’ day. Tomorrow either. I did what I reasonably could, left it all (it’s still spread out on the desk), got dressed & headed out for a hair cut! I LOVE GETTING MY HAIR CUT ! 💕 Well, I enjoy the entire experience! The waiting, the conversation with the stylist, the sound of the scissors, being spun around in ‘the chair’, the mirrors (big & small 😂). On the way home I stopped by the grocer. I enjoy doing that as well, because I like to eat too! I’ll face it all again in the morning, on top of what tomorrow will be bringing.
